Reminds me of a Poul Anderson star-drive concept - massive weight on one end counteracts acceleration gravitational effects. Living space a tourus around cylinder that moves closer / farther from super-mass to keep gravity near normal. Fun stuff and Great work!

I like the ship design but I don't like the bryce texture.
